Nudge is built with privacy at its core. We believe your personal relationships and contact information are sacred and should remain under your complete control.

Local-First Design

Nudge is designed as a local-first application. This means:

• Your data stays on your device - All contact information, notes, and relationship data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad
• No data collection - We do not collect, access, or store your personal information on our servers
• No tracking - We do not track your usage patterns or behavior within the app
• No advertisements - Since we don't collect data, we don't serve targeted ads

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync:

• Your data is synced directly between your devices using Apple's iCloud service
• We never have access to this data - it goes directly from device to iCloud to your other devices
• Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud handles your data
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings

Voice Notes and Transcription

When you record voice notes in Nudge:

• All voice recordings remain on your device
• Transcription is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech framework
• No audio data is sent to external servers for processing
• You can delete voice notes at any time

AI Features

Nudge's AI-powered cheat sheets and insights:

• Use Apple's Foundation Models that run entirely on your device
• No personal data is sent to external AI services
• All AI processing happens locally for complete privacy

Subscription Management

For users who upgrade to Nudge Pro:

• Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat
• RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to subscription and purchase data
• We only receive anonymized subscription status information
• No personal contact or relationship data is shared with RevenueCat

Data You Import

When you import contacts or other data:

• This data is processed entirely on your device
• We never see or store the imported information
• You maintain full control over what data to import and can delete it at any time

No Analytics or Crash Reporting

To maintain your privacy:

• We do not use analytics services that track user behavior
• We do not automatically collect crash reports with personal data
• If you experience issues, you can choose to contact support directly

Children's Privacy

Nudge is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users through the app when significant changes are made.
